BULK-BILLING

 

Bulk-billing refers to when a clinic will directly bill the cost of your consultation directly to Medicare, without the patient needing to pay anything out-of-pocket.

 

Bulking-billing available Monday to Friday with all doctors.  All doctors will bulk-bill Medicare Card holders, Concession Card holders and children under 16 years of age.

 

Mental Health Care Plans,  GP Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments are bulk-billed if you hold a valid Medicare card.

 

Long Appointments

Long appointments are required if you need to cover more than one issue within your appointment.

Procedures that require a longer appointment time will incur other fees.

Toowong GP Super Clinic does not directly bill to insurance companies. If you do not have a current Medicare card, you will need to pay for your consultation up-front, after the appointment has finished.

Each procedure incurs a fee, depending on the doctor, please discuss with the doctor what the estimated amount will be.
